Winemaker Notes

Our inaugural release of Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a celebration of the wines name. Veris in Latin is defined as “the production of spring”. The wine exhibits complex aromatics of citrus and tropical fruit. On the palate, supple flavors of orange peel, papaya, guava and racy grapefruit notes are displayed. An underlining acidity combined with complex fruit and a touch of sweetness create a clean mouthwatering white perfect with light appetizers, salads, and shell fish…..or simply sitting on your back porch amongst friends.

2007 "Adamare" Napa Valley Syrah

Production: 100 cases
Composition: 100% Syrah
Appellation: Napa Valley
Vineyard: Kate’s Vineyard, Napa Valley
Aging: Fermented in open top barrels, aged in neutral oak
Alcohol: 15.0% by volume
Release: Fall 2009

Winemaker Notes

Our inaugural release of Napa Valley Syrah underwent single berry sorting and was punched down by hand during open top barrel fermentation. While aging in neutral oak barrels the wine developed a perfumed nose with scents of wild herbs, black fruits, roasted meats, and black pepper. The rich flavors of blackberry liqueur, mocha, warm spices and hints of meat unfold on the palate. Having developed its structure and depth the syrah should continue to mature for the next five years. Enjoy this with herbed crusted meats or more specifically…..lamb, lamb, lamb!

2007 "Misceo" Russian River Grenache/Syrah

Appellation: Russian River Valley
Vineyard: Saralee Vineyard/Catie’s Corner
Aging: Fermented in open top barrels, aged in neutral oak
Alcohol: 14.5% by volume
Release: Fall 2009

Winemaker Notes

Our inaugural release of Russian River Grenache/Syrah underwent single berry sorting and was punched down by hand during open top barrel fermentation. Initially fermented individually the wines were blended together and began to exhibit aromas of strawberries, rhubarb and roasted herbs. Rich flavors of chocolate covered black cherries, peppercorns and cherry cola are displayed on the palate. This cool climate blend will continue to express itself in its youth and with proper cellaring will develop its lush character and persistent finish. The bright fruit and acidity will pair well with pasta dishes, pizza or lighter meats. Cheers!
